Very good to help understand why you shouldn't pitch bend samples in your crappy sequencer with noob pitch bending algorithms that dosn't know about formants..

This is what i use to pitch shift at the moment Wink cubase standard ftw!!!
you can choose between different algorhitms. It has never disapointed me, though the procedure is slow

Actually I meant to say that You should read it and understand why one should do all pitch transportation with correct algorithms instead of doing a simple sample rate conversion and transposing the pitch..

This means that when ever you pull a pitch knob in some software and the software dosn't spend some time analyzing and converting the sample then you are doing it the wrong way.

So JR, even Cubase fails at this... Thumb down

I don't need all that info... thanks though.

cubase IS analyzing it, and it does take a couple of seconds (depending on the size)

Not every time you pitch a sample.. Only when you go in the special section to modify pitch with algoriths. Im talking about when you pitch a sample by pulling a pitch knob om the clip envelope..
Anyways, i cant explain it and you try to misinterpet what I say showing generel lack of interest...
Ill shut up now and leave you to wath tv, not thinking
